HP TX1000 Mini Remote not working with laptop?
Recently I got a tx1000 notebook and for the first two weeks the remote was working fine. But last week my remote stopped working. I tried calling HP but they just kept telling me to exchange the remote even though i know it’s not the remote which is the problem because it has full battery and everything. before i was able to use my large remote to turn on my notebook too but that also ceased to work with it. Anyone know why my remotes are not working? Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

I recommand to update the BIOS version and check for the issue.
Download and install the BIOS update from the following link.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp37501-38000/sp37612.exe
Copy the complete URL and paste it in the address bar of the browser and
press enter.
After updating the BIOS reinstall the chipset driver from the following
link.
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36001-36500/sp36077.exe
Copy the complete URL and paste it in the address bar of the browser and
press enter.
After updating the BIOS, restart the Notebook and then install
chipset driver.
